Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM)

CBM is the only specialist manufacturer’s organisation for experts in metalforming. They are the leading trade association for UK manufacturers of fasteners, forgings and pressings, cold-rolled and sheet-metal products and they give manufacturers a collective voice so views can be heard at the highest level of politics and business.

A membership-driven organisation that shares expertise and provides valuable insights to members, the CBM works on behalf of companies who span every aspect of British industry.

SMMT

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is one of the largest and most influential trade associations in the UK. It is the voice of the UK motor industry, supporting and promoting its members’ interests, at home and abroad, to government, stakeholders and the media.

SMMT represents more than 800 automotive companies in the UK, providing us with a forum to voice our views on issues affecting the sector, helping to guide strategies and build positive relationships with government and regulatory authorities.

Institute of Corrosion

The Institute of Corrosion is a Registered Charity, run by professionals and volunteers from Industry and Academia. The Institute promotes the dissemination of technical information about corrosion matters, and the standardization in the terminology and techniques of corrosion control.
They provide a growing community of corrosion professionals with industry relevant qualifications and development of skills.

Surface Engineering Association

The voice of the surface engineering industry, representing the companies within it. Spanning the entire surface engineering and finishing sector, the SEA is the voice of the industry, working at every level to ensure that our members are informed and fairly represented in parliament in the UK and EU. They take an active role on UK and EU committees and working groups where legislation, standards, and codes of practice are developed, making sure that our views are heard.
